Celebrating the holidays together
Like every year, "Yahad" - United for Israel's soldiers celebrated the Jewish holidays with IDF Lone Soldiers.
There are about 6,700 lone soldiers serving in the IDF, those soldiers don't have a family and a warm home to return to.
"Yahad" is there for those soldiers, trying to make them feel at home away from their home. On Rosh Hashana (Jewish new year) every lone soldier recieved a gift vocher of 500 NIS and a summer gift with a beach towel, bag and a bottel of water.
On Sukkot, hundreds of Soldiers celebrated together at our Soldiers Homes around the country.
